~Linda, Schneck Internal Medicine patient

I grew up in Crown Point, Indiana.

My wife Jessica and I have two children and two Goldendoodles Pippa and Cocoa.

I would love to visit the British Isles and Ireland.

I knew I wanted to be a physician in junior high. It was odd because no one in my family was in healthcare.

My favorite memory from medical school was our group study sessions that—too often—got a little crazy. My favorite memory from my residency was “code white”, translated...a trip to McDonalds for ice cream!

Building relationships with my patients and seeing my interventions improve their health.

While a medical student at Riley, I diagnosed one of our patient’s mothers with multiple sclerosis when I heard her describe several episodes of “clumsiness” during her son’s treatment for a rare condition that also involved weakness.

I was initially attracted to the idea of building a combined internal medicine and pediatrics hospitalist program at a smaller community hospital, but I have since become invested in Schneck due to family, church, and developing so many relationships within the community.
