Schneck Medical Center’s Susan Zabor Earns Prestigious Credential from the American College of Healthcare Executives

Schneck Medical Center is proud to announce that Susan Zabor, MBA, MSN, BSN, FACHE, CSSBB, Vice President of Clinical and Provider Management and Chief Quality Officer, has earned the esteemed Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) credential, the premier mark of distinction for healthcare leaders.

The FACHE credential is awarded to healthcare professionals who demonstrate a commitment to excellence through ongoing education, leadership, and ethical standards. It is recognized as a symbol of professional achievement and a testament to a leader’s dedication to improving healthcare delivery.

To earn the FACHE credential, candidates must complete a rigorous multi-step process, including meeting academic and experiential requirements, demonstrating professional and community involvement, and passing a comprehensive board examination.

Zabor began her career with Schneck in 1996 as a staff nurse. In 1998, she continued her nursing career as a staff nurse at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, before returning to Schneck in 2005. Since that time, she has held the positions of staff nurse, Quality Outcomes Coordinator, and Director of Lean Six Sigma & Organizational Projects. Zabor has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University, a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Nursing Management and Leadership from the University of Southern Indiana, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Indiana, and is certified by the American Society for Quality as a Six Sigma Black Belt.

Her professional affiliations include: Leapfrog Hospital Advisory Council; American Society of Quality; Indiana Rural Health Association, Board of Directors; Healthy Jackson County Membership; American College of Healthcare Executives; Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt - American Society of Quality.
