Schneck Medical Center Ranks in Money Magazine’s Best Hospitals for Maternity Care

| News

Schneck Medical Center has earned recognition as one of Best Hospitals for Maternity Care 2025 in America by Money.

To compile the 2025 list, Money’s core data partner for the project was Definitive Healthcare. They also relied on publicly available data from CMS and The Joint Commission. The University of Southern California’s Chan department provided data on the nation’s neonatal intensive care units (NICUs).

Each of the hospitals on Money’s list was assigned an overall letter grade of between A+ and B, the latter being the minimum grade considered for inclusion, after removing lower scoring hospitals.

"We are honored that Schneck has been recognized as one of the Best Hospitals for Maternity Care in America for 2025 by Money. This recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to providing exceptional, patient-centered maternity care,” said Amy Pettit, DNP, RN, NE-BC, CSSBB, Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer at Schneck. “Our dedicated team of healthcare professionals work tirelessly to ensure the highest standards of safety, compassion, and clinical excellence for mothers and babies in the communities we serve."

About Money

Founded in 1972, Money Magazine helped everyday people live richer lives by learning personal finance strategies that improved their bottom line. Over that time their mission has evolved to guide people to financial victories through up-to-date information, education, and tools as a digital-only destination.

With the rising costs of healthcare, Money sees the direct correlation between quality of care and the lessened financial impact on the consumer, the better the care, the lower the overall, long-term costs.
