Eric D. Fish, MD, MBA, FACOG

President/Chief Executive Officer

Eric Fish became President/Chief Executive Officer of Schneck Medical Center in September 2020. In this capacity, he also serves as President of Health Development Corporation and President of Coordinated Health, wholly owned subsidiaries of Schneck Medical Center. Dr. Fish graduated from Indiana University School of Medicine and completed his residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology. He obtained his MBA from the University of Tennessee. Kathy Covert, MSM, CHM

Vice President of Workforce and Support Services

Ms. Covert began her career at Schneck in 2003 after serving in Human Resources and management roles in the banking and manufacturing industries. She has held the positions of Human Resources Coordinator, Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Director at Schneck prior to being named Vice President of Workforce and Support Services in 2011. Ms. Covert earned her associates degree in Business Administration from Ivy Tech. She completed her bachelor's and master's degrees in Business Management from Indiana Wesleyan. She is certified as a Healthcare Manager by Indiana University's School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Professional Affiliations: Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM); Indiana Hospital Association Council on Rural Health; Ivy Tech Community College Regional Board of Trustees; Indiana Society for Healthcare Human Resource Administration. Deborah Mann, CPA, MBA

Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Mann began her career at Schneck in 1994 as a staff accountant. Since that time she has held the positions of Director of Accounting and Controller prior to being named VP of Fiscal Services in February 2014. Before joining Schneck, she spent six years in public accounting as Senior Accountant with Blue and Company. Ms. Mann is a Certified Public Accountant and has a Bachelor of Science in Business from Indiana University and Master of Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. Amy Pettit, DNP, RN, NE-BC, CSSBB

Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer

Dr. Pettit began her career at Schneck Medical Center in 1994 as a student nurse. In 1995, she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. Dr. Pettit later continued her education at the University of Southern Indiana where she earned her Master of Science in Nursing, specializing in Nursing Management and Leadership, and a Doctorate of Nurse Practice (DNP) with an emphasis in organizational and systems leadership, becoming the first DNP in Schneck's 100-year history. She holds a certification in Nursing Administration and is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt by the American Society for Quality. Craig Rice, CHCIO

Chief Information Officer

Craig Rice, Certified Healthcare Chief Information Officer, began his career with Schneck Medical Center in 2008 as the Director of Information Technology. In this role, he led the technical operations and strategic IT planning for the organization. In 2016, his role expanded to include oversight of Lean Six Sigma. In 2019, Rice joined Cincinnati Children’s Hospital as Assistant Vice President for Information Services. He returned to Schneck as Chief Information Officer in August 2021. His professional associations include the Health Information and Management Systems Society and College of Healthcare Information Management Executives.

Susan Zabor, MBA, MSN, BSN, RNC, CSSBB

Vice President of Clinical and Provider Management and Chief Quality Officer

Ms. Zabor began her career with Schneck in 1996 as a staff nurse. In 1998, she continued her nursing career as a staff nurse at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, before returning to Schneck in 2005. Since that time, she has held the positions of staff nurse, Quality Outcomes Coordinator, and Director of Lean Six Sigma & Organizational Projects. Ms. Zabor has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University, a Master of Science in Nursing with a specialty in Nursing Management and Leadership from the University of Southern Indiana, a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Indiana, and is certified by the American Society for Quality as a Six Sigma Black Belt. Ryan Stone, D.O., MS

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Stone joined the Schneck Hospitalist team in 2015. He attended Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences where he earned his medical degree and a Master of Science in biomedical sciences. He completed his residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at Truman Medical Center, Children's Mercy Hospital, and Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Professional Certifications: American Board of Internal Medicine, board certified; American Board of Pediatrics, board certified. Professional Associations: Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics; Society of Hospital Medicine; American College of Physicians; American Academy of Pediatrics.
