The 43rd Annual Dr. Bud Charity Golf Open will take place June 26, 2024 at Shadowood Golf Course in Seymour, Indiana. All proceeds from this event will provide nursing scholarships in Jackson, Jennings, Scott and Washington counties. Your participation at any level will benefit nursing students and, ultimately, the patients.

Dr. H. P. "Bud" Graessle was a practicing physician and surgeon for 53 years until his retirement in 1971. The Dr. "Bud" Scholarship was established in his honor.

You may sign up as and individual or a team of 4 for the golf scramble. Corporate sponsorships are also available and are tax-deductible.

Tournament Information

Teams will have an 8am tee time or a 1:30pm tee time.

Each team must have an A, B, C, and D player as determined by the following handicaps:

  • A=1-10
  • B=11-14
  • C=15-20
  • D=21+



A team may be modified provided it has no more than one A player and one B player, or no more than two B players and no A player.
