Where Did You Grow Up?
My hometown is Lagos, Nigeria. In high school, I participated in javelin and running. In college, I enjoyed baking, sewing and DJ-ing.

I met my husband during my clinical rotations in Baltimore and we have a daughter.
What Hobbies do You Enjoy?
I enjoy painting, sewing, and spending time with family.
What is the One Place You Would Most Like to Visit?
Japan and the Netherlands.
When Did You Know You Wanted to be a Physician?
When I was about 16 years old, I shadowed a surgeon in Nigeria and the care and attention that the patients received made me very interested in becoming a physician.

What is a Favorite Memory From Your Medical Training?
Helping a patient who was in the dying process get her beloved cat into the hospital to help give her comfort.
What do You Like Most About Practicing Medicine?
Forming relationships with patients while helping them get through what is usually a difficult part of their lives. It gives me great pleasure to not only be with them, but to see the transformation and the change that occurs when patients get through difficult times.
What Attracted You to Join Schneck Pain Center?
I wanted to live close to family in Columbus, Indiana. I loved the experience I had when I came for my in-person interview at the hospital. Everyone was very cordial and collegial, and every interaction I have had since then has been the same. This showed me how great of a work environment Schneck is.
