Schneck Medical Center Named One of the Nation’s Top Hospitals for Physician and Nurse Communication

Seymour, IN--Becker's Hospital Review has named Schneck Medical Center a Top Hospital for Physician Communication and a Top Hospital for Nurse Communication. Becker’s determined the honors based on the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services.

Schneck received five-star ratings in both physician and nurse communications for how well each explained care and treatment, listened carefully to the patient, and treated the patient with courtesy and respect.

Schneck was the only hospital in the region to receive these recognitions. In Indiana, Schneck was one of only seven to be named as a top hospital for physician communication and one of only ten as a top hospital for nurse communication.
